Alexis Petit, alias Petit Jacquart<\/em>, est n\u00e9 en 1993 et vit \u00e0 Montreuil. Form\u00e9 au graphisme, il se tourne en 2015 vers le tatouage, attir\u00e9 par une pratique plus plastique, artisanale et intuitive. Autodidacte, il y d\u00e9couvre un langage personnel, \u00e0 la crois\u00e9e de l\u2019illustration et de la cr\u00e9ation manuelle. Depuis plus de six ans, Petit Jacquart explore, \u00e0 travers ce m\u00e9dium, son go\u00fbt pour la composition et la narration. Son univers puise dans la po\u00e9sie, les arts na\u00effs, m\u00e9di\u00e9vaux et d\u00e9coratifs, m\u00ealant les univers avec libert\u00e9. Son travail s\u2019inscrit dans une tension constante entre douceur et violence, fragilit\u00e9 et brutalit\u00e9, un \u00e9quilibre pr\u00e9caire, comme suspendu sur le fil de la chute, sans savoir quel protagoniste en coupera le fil.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

En mai 2024, il pr\u00e9sente son premier solo show, Vaste Recoins<\/em>, une exposition pluridisciplinaire m\u00ealant c\u00e9ramique, sculpture sur bois, dessin, peinture et mobilier. Aujourd\u2019hui, Petit Jacquart s\u2019attache \u00e0 concevoir des \u0153uvres totales, pens\u00e9es dans leur int\u00e9gralit\u00e9 , de l\u2019illustration jusqu\u2019au cadre  pour qu\u2019elles existent d\u2019elles-m\u00eames, sans support ni artifice.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Alexis Petit, alias Petit Jacquart, was born in 1993 and lives in Montreuil. Originally trained in graphic design, he turned to tattooing in 2015, drawn by a more tactile, artisanal, and intuitive practice. As a self-taught artist, he discovered a personal language at the crossroads of illustration and manual creation. For over six years, Petit Jacquart has used this medium to explore his taste for composition and narrative. His universe draws from poetry, as well as naive, medieval, and decorative arts, blending these influences with freedom. His work exists in a constant tension between softness and violence, fragility and brutality\u2014a precarious balance, as if suspended on a thread, never knowing which protagonist will eventually cut it. In May 2024, he presented his first solo show, Vaste Recoins, a multidisciplinary exhibition combining ceramics, wood carving, drawing, painting, and furniture. Today, Petit Jacquart is dedicated to creating \u00ab\u00a0total works\u00a0\u00bb\u2014pieces conceived in their entirety, from the illustration to the frame\u2014so that they may exist on their own, free from external support or artifice.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n
